Good Insight Welcomes New Senior Search Consultant

We are pleased to introduce Ginna Goodenow-Schirf as a new member of the Good Insight team this spring.

As a Senior Search Consultant, Ginna leads client engagements to plan leadership transitions and recruit qualified executives to meet their needs.

“I am thrilled to join the Good Insight team to help transform nonprofits and the communities they serve. Guiding executive transitions with an antiracist lens creates new possibilities and opportunities to change the landscape for nonprofit boards, executives, and stakeholders.”

Ginna is an expert on nonprofit leadership transitions and brings almost 25 years of experience in the sector, including as a nonprofit founder, advisor, and consultant. She spent 14 years as a Senior Executive Search and Transition consultant with TransitionGuides and Raffa/Marcum’s Nonprofit Search, Transitions, and Planning practice. Since 2006, she has completed nearly 500 search engagements for executives and leaders across the entire senior management spectrum. She has worked with clients in dozens of mission areas from start-ups to multi-million-dollar global institutions.

Good Insight Founder and CEO, Carlyn Madden, shared,

“The Good Insight team is bolstered by Ginna’s breadth and depth of experience in executive transitions. While nonprofits ease out of crisis mode and into a new chapter of strength and stability, the communities they serve continue to face significant setbacks and disparities. Our sector requires new approaches to nonprofit leadership, and I am confident that Ginna will prepare our clients and their leaders for what’s to come.”

Ginna began at Good Insight in March 2021. We asked her to share some advice for nonprofit professionals looking for their next leadership opportunity:

“Tell us about the lessons you learned over the last year in your job search. Recent events have shaped and honed skill sets for all of us. Leaders had to pivot to maintain their missions. How did you use creativity to sustain programs? Did you find new ways to enhance your focus, or deliver new services? We want to hear how your experiences would help you spread passion, knowledge, and wisdom in your new role.”

Please join us in welcoming Ginna!
