The Partnership for America’s Children names Executive Director
Good Insight is pleased to share that the Partnership for America’s Children has announced Marquita Little Numan as the organization’s next Executive Director, following an extensive national search led by Good Insight. Numan begins her new role in August.
A national network of nonpartisan child advocacy organizations, the Partnership for America’s Children connects its members to resources and fosters collaborations that deepen the impact of child advocacy within and across states.
“Marquita has the experience and insight to collaboratively develop a bold vision for our national network and guide our membership with skill and compassion,” said Kimberly Perry, Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Partnership for America’s Children. “Her passion for child and youth advocacy, knowledge of strategy at the state and community levels, and her leadership in expanding racial equity across organizations will strengthen the Partnership.”
As Executive Director, Numan will build the capacity of the Partnership and guide the network’s commitment to building an inclusive organization that centers equity and justice and reflects the diversity of the families and children it serves.

About Marquita Little Numan
Marquita Little Numan is a passionate and strategic advocate committed to empowering people, removing systemic barriers, and advancing equity. Over nearly two decades, she has worked through government, nonprofits, and philanthropy to support marginalized communities and advocate for improved public policies.
Numan comes to the Partnership for America’s Children from the Alliance for Early Success, where she led the organization’s transition toward more equitable grantmaking and championed early childhood advocates as Senior Director of Equity and Impact.
Her leadership experience extends to reviving the Urban League of Arkansas after a 20-year absence in the state, as inaugural president and CEO, and serving as Leadership Officer at the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation. She brings deep experience in state policy and advocacy, holding roles instrumental in advocating for and shaping Arkansas’s early adoption of Medicaid expansion and spearheading child health initiatives.
Numan holds a master’s degree from the Clinton School of Public Service at the University of Arkansas and a bachelor’s degree from Hendrix College. She is the proud mother of an inquisitive toddler and cherishes the opportunity to travel with her husband and loved ones.
