Digital Promise Names Comptroller
We are pleased to share that our client, Digital Promise, welcomed Emily Gazda as the organization’s Comptroller following an extensive national search led by Good Insight. Gazda began her role in June 2025.
Digital Promise works across research, technology, and education to shape a more equitable and innovative future of learning.

About Emily Gazda
Emily Gazda is an accomplished finance executive with more than a decade of experience advancing nonprofit financial strategy. Most recently Chief Financial Officer at the North Star Health Alliance, a healthcare system in Northern New York, Gazda led finance teams and worked closely with boards of directors to align strategy with mission-driven outcomes.
Gazda has been instrumental in guiding organizations through large-scale transactions, including electronic health record transitions, full-scale mergers, and restructuring initiatives that drive long-term sustainability. Her commitment to compliance, efficiency, and fiscal transparency has consistently supported organizational growth and resilience, especially in underserved and rural communities.
A certified public accountant, Gazda holds an MBA and dual bachelor’s degrees in accounting and psychology.
