The Opportunity Agenda names Vice President, Health Equity

Good Insight is pleased that our client, The Opportunity Agenda (TOA) welcomed communications leader Kimberly Hall as Vice President, Health Equity Works. Kim started her new role August 19, following an extensive national search led by Good Insight.

TOA is dedicated to changing the prevailing narratives on social issues to drive public support for more just and equitable policies. The Health Equity Works (HEW) lab is a new initiative that TOA will oversee in partnership with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Kim’s leadership will elevate the work of nonprofits and advocacy organizations to advance a positive national understanding of health equity.

“We are thrilled to have a communicator of Kimberly’s caliber able to launch this critical campaign from the ground up,” said Robin Jenkins, TOA’s Interim President. “Her broad experience and understanding of this important role will ensure its success.”

Kim will build and lead a diverse team to advance HEW’s ambitious initiative and work closely with health-, race-, and equity-focused organizations in support of effective communications strategies and long-term narrative development.

“I have deeply admired The Opportunity Agenda’s approach to narrative strategy and their inclusive practice of working in community to effect change,” said Hall. “The HEW lab will partner with dedicated organizations to harness the power of narrative, uplift diverse voices to challenge the disparities in our systems, and advance equitable health outcomes for everyone.”
