Arlington Arts Center seeks next Executive Director

Good Insight has been retained by the Arlington Arts Center (AAC) to conduct a national search for its next Executive Director. Since 1974, AAC has served as a premiere destination for contemporary visual arts for the Washington metropolitan area. AAC’s mission is to enrich community life by connecting the public with contemporary art and artists through exhibitions, educational programs, and artist residencies.

AAC’s next chapter will be focused on strengthening community partnerships, raising its visibility, and broadening its base of support. To support these goals, they are seeking an experienced leader with a significant track record in marketing, communications and/or fundraising. AAC has an excellent curatorial team in place, and while the next E.D. should have passion for its mission, a contemporary visual arts background isn’t required to be successful in this role.
